Loving God, Loving Others

1 John 4

Love is from God. Everyone that truly loves is born of God and knows God.

This is love. Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation of our sins.

If God so loved us, we out also to love one another.

If we love, God dwells in us and His love is perfected in us.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

We love him because He first loved us.

How can we love God and not our brother? If we love not our brother whom we have seen, how can we love God whom we have not seen?

Herein is love,

not that we loved God;

but that He loved us,

and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Infinite Love, for eternity.
