Freedom through the Cross

It should have been me…

…Instead I am free.

I am free!

Such unimaginable, uncompilable love.

The almighty King of Heaven,

yet the most humiliating death.

The Healer of Nations,

unable to heal His own pain.

Our Redeemer made a curse (Galatians 3:11)

so that I could be free from the curse of the law.

The spotless Son of God

carrying the weight of the world on His shoulders.

And because of all this disgrace, humiliation, pain:

I am free.

Freed to follow Jesus. Freed to work for Him.

Freed to willingly, and of my own choice, become a slave of Christ.

Freed to suffer joyfully for Christ.

Such un-matchless love.
