Zephaniah 3:13

I’m contemplating Zephaniah 3:13 today.

The remnant of Israel:

Will not commit iniquity.

Will not speak lies.

Are not deceitful.

Eat, and rest, and no one can make them afraid.

“And in their mouth was found no guile (or deceit): for they are without fault before the throne of God.” Revelation 14:5

“Those who have learned of Christ will ‘have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness’ (Ephesians 5:11). In speech, as in life, they will be simple, straightforward, and true; for they are preparing for the fellowship of those holy ones in whose mouth ‘was found no guild’ (Revelation 14:).    MB 69

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;

He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy;

He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17
