God saves us, sets us free, helps us.
But not only so that we can be free; but so that we can help others.*
Free the prisoners.
Show those in darkness the way.
Lead them to the Bread of Life.
God never saves without giving a commission.
He never sets a soul free from bondage without giving them the responsibility to work for the freedom of others.
Every disciple is a missionary.
Each has a task to do.
But we’re not called to do it alone–far from it.
He has promised to always be with us.
To give us the words we need when we need them.
To shine His love through us.
This is all I need. I go. His Promises shine true.
Thus saith the LORD, In an
acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
